André has been providing safe, dynamic care in North Berkeley since 2005. A UC Berkeley graduate in Philosophy and father of three, André's approach to care is informed by his background in ethics, education, and a strong connection to the outdoors.
André and I met in 2000 working in a program for children in special education. When he decided to stay home with our two youngest children, we created Greenhouse. The families we have met over the years have grown up with our children and our dogs and remain part of the larger Greenhouse family.
André is joined by our adult daughter, Coco. Together they provide mindful care to children and are excited about the opportunity to provide community to other families.
André plays the guitar, speaks a little German, and has hiked the Appalachian Trail from Maine to Georgia with his dog. He loves the outdoors - and your children will, too.
